Luke's On The Rockies

Luke decided that he wanted to play baseball this Spring instead of Soccer. Mom was sad, but Dad was really excited about this. Luke even got his wish and was drafted by the Colorado Rockies.

Luke and his proud Dad. Jason even took off work so he could be at Luke's first game!

Visit With Lindsey

We had an awesome visitor today! Jason's little sister Lindsey was flying to California and had a 3-hour layover here in Salt Lake.
We picked her up from the airport and wisked her off to our house for a tour and some photos, then out to lunch at Red Robin (Yum!)
We brought her back to our place for a few more photos and then took her back to the airport to catch her flight on to California.
It was a short but sweet visit!

Note: I AM in the picture, sort of, just look in the glass door behind everyone else... oh, and you'll probably see Slugger there too (look behind Jason's ear)!

Sparrows

“Shadows of despair are dispelled by rays of hope, sorrow yields to joy, and the feeling of being lost in the crowd of life vanishes with the certain knowledge that our Heavenly Father is mindful of each of us.

The Savior provided assurance of this truth when He taught that even a sparrow shall not fall to the ground unnoticed by our Father. He then concluded the beautiful thought by saying, 'Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.' (Matt. 10:29-31)

Elves 2009

Once again the Elves are at Gardner Village (yes, I love that place!) so on the first good day we had this month I took the kids on a field trip.
Ugh, sisters & mistletoe don't mix!
Luke checking out the candy outside Sweet Aftons candy store. He's hoping they give out fudge samples that big inside!

Once again, Luke locates his name on the Naughty list and isn't too happy about it!

"I don't think this is Santa's real list."

"Oh, no!!! Don't fall!!"

Tasty good Candy Canes!
