What the ...????

I really HATE when you stay up until 4 a.m. reading a book only to have it end in a really LAME way. Especially after you invested 278 pages of reading.

Dear Author,

What? Were you bored and so you just decided to end the book? You think that after I've invested my time reading your in-depth story I'm just going to be happy with a 1 1/2 page, slapped together conclusion?

Think again. That series you wrote? Not gonna even bother to read it now! You'll get no more of my life!!

Disgustedly,
Me

What book was it?? I hope Jason's surgery goes ok. That is kind of scary since, well you guys are still so young! I'm always scared that I might get skin cancer at some point because I never used sunscreen much growing up or through the college years...and even now there are lots of days I go out without it (well other than what is in my moisturizer).

Alright, please tell me what it was so I can steer clear.

I am dying to know what book this was! Steve and I have read books like that before where you just go what the heck? 200 and some odd pages of build up and 2 pages to wrap it all up! Crazy!

I can't believe you didn't say what book it was! I just read one that was good, a very easy read if you want to borrow it. Let me know.

That is why I stick to the classics, like Dilber, Sherman's Lagoon, and other Classics.

That's why I stick to self help books or motivational books, but in the end I am neither helped nor motivated.

I, like others, am DYING to know what book it was. Especially since you and I read so many of the same books! I want to stay away. I HATE books like that.

The book was "The Hob's Bargain" by Patricia Briggs.

I really did enjoy her writing and the story, but it just ended. I felt like I was reading towards a certain ending, but she never delivered. There is definitly room for a sequel!

I just noticed that on the Amazon review the author left her email address for comments. Maybe I'll have to pass on my letter to her...
